Privacy Policy

How BeliefState LLC collects, uses, protects, and gives you control over information in BeliefState.

Effective 2026-08-01

Scope

This policy applies to BeliefState websites, REST APIs, MCP services, applications, and related services. It does not govern third-party services you choose to connect, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information we collect

  • Account information, including your name, email address, authentication identifiers, workspace, access role, API-key metadata, and connected-AI grants.
  • Connected-service information you authorize, including selected Gmail newsletters, X source or publisher accounts, Discord server and selected-channel metadata, connection status, and provider credentials where required. Retained provider credentials are encrypted. Short-lived Discord installer credentials are discarded after setup.
  • From selected Discord channels: available earlier messages and new message create, edit, and delete events; message text; server, channel, message, thread, and reply identifiers; author Discord user IDs, usernames, and role observations; timestamps; and derived trade facts, review decisions, outcomes, and profile links.
  • Research content you submit or select for processing, plus source records, annotations, reviews, thesis events, and audit history created through your use of the service.
  • Technical information such as device and browser details, IP address, timestamps, REST and MCP request metadata, usage and cost records, error data, and security events.
  • Prepaid-credit, billing, and transaction details. Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored by BeliefState.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users and API clients, deliver investor belief data through the website, REST API, and MCP, meter usage, enforce access, import sources you select, process selected Discord channels, detect and review market calls, calculate normalized outcomes, publish approved public records and leaderboard summaries, maintain provenance and audit records, secure the service, provide support, process payments, comply with law, and improve reliability.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use connected Gmail or Google Workspace data for advertising, credit decisions, or training generalized artificial-intelligence models. We do not use Discord message content to train machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models.

Discord data

Discord access begins only after an authorized server manager installs BeliefState and selects channels. The requested bot permissions are View Channels and Read Message History. The current feature imports every earlier message Discord makes available in each selected text channel, then captures new create, edit, and delete events after tracking starts. The bot cannot post, edit, delete, or manage messages.

Raw Discord message text is encrypted and kept out of public views. Where public scoring is enabled, public views may show normalized trade facts, timestamps, derived performance, an author display name or provider identity, and whether a profile is claimed. Private message bodies and private channel identifiers are not published.

Removing BeliefState from a server, pausing the connection, or deselecting a channel stops new collection from that scope. Existing records are handled under the retention, deletion, and corrections terms below.

Google Workspace data

BeliefState requests Gmail access only after you choose to connect it. Access is read-only and limited to providing the visible newsletter discovery, import, and research features you request.

BeliefState’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Human access is prohibited except when you give explicit permission for support, when needed for security, or when required by law.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only to vendors and infrastructure providers needed to run BeliefState, including authentication, hosting, database, private storage, AI processing, market-data, connected source, payment, security, and support providers. They may process information only for contracted services and under applicable data protection obligations.

When a record is approved for public display, we may disclose the normalized research facts, attribution, profile status, methodology, and derived results described in the service. Public social posts may summarize only records already approved for public use. We do not publish raw private Discord messages or private channel identifiers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only while needed to provide the service, satisfy legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, and preserve required audit records. Retention varies by record type. Append-only research and audit records may be retained longer when needed for provenance, integrity, or legal compliance.

Discord API data is retained only while needed for BeliefState’s stated Discord features or as required by law. We update or delete it when continued retention is no longer needed, when Discord requires deletion, when the service stops, or after a valid request from the affected person. Where continued retention is permitted and necessary, deletion may remove raw content and encryption keys while retaining limited identifiers, hashes, normalized facts, review history, and audit events needed for the remaining service, integrity, or legal purpose.

You may request account deletion, connected-data deletion, or an export by contacting antvacation@gmail.com. We will verify the request and explain any information we must retain. You may also revoke Google or X access, remove the Discord app, or ask a server manager to pause or deselect Discord channels at any time.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, encrypted provider tokens, private storage, least-privilege permissions, and audit logs. No system is completely secure. Report suspected unauthorized access to antvacation@gmail.com.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. You may disconnect providers, stop using the service, or opt out of marketing email at any time. Contact antvacation@gmail.com to exercise a privacy right. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid request.

Cookies and similar technology

BeliefState uses cookies and local storage required for authentication, security, preferences, and core service operation. If we add nonessential analytics or advertising technology, we will update this policy and provide consent controls where required.

Children

BeliefState’s financial-data and research services are for adults aged 18 or older. Server managers must not configure Discord channels intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been collected.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as BeliefState changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by another reasonable method before they take effect. Questions and privacy requests: antvacation@gmail.com.
