Research Disclosures

Important limitations and risks for BeliefState investor belief data, public records, rankings, option-call results, and AI-assisted analysis.

Research data, not advice

BeliefState provides investor belief data and recordkeeping tools. It does not provide personalized investment advice, execute trades, manage assets, or act as a broker, dealer, fiduciary, or investment adviser for you. Nothing shown is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to transact in a security or strategy.

Investment risk

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Market prices can change rapidly. Liquidity, leverage, concentration, currency, political, operational, and issuer-specific risks may not be captured in a research record. Make decisions using independent judgment and, where appropriate, qualified professional advice.

Data and source limitations

  • Third-party data and source material may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, revised, unavailable, or subject to usage restrictions.
  • A captured statement does not prove that its author acted on it, maintained it, or achieved the measured result.
  • Benchmarks, horizons, corporate actions, and methodology choices can materially change measured outcomes.
  • Historical, simulated, and hypothetical results do not predict future performance and may omit real-world costs and constraints.
  • Source edits and deletions may append revisions or tombstones rather than erase the original timestamp, prior review state, or permitted audit history.

Public records and rankings

Public records may attribute research or market calls using a provider handle, display name, stable provider identifier, or linked profile. Profiles may be unclaimed, and identity matching can be incomplete or wrong. A public record does not show that its attributed author uses, approves, or endorses BeliefState.

Rankings depend on which records qualify, available source and market data, review decisions, sample size, measurement window, and methodology version. Provisional profiles and small samples can move sharply and should not be compared with established histories without inspecting the underlying records. Public summaries on connected social accounts may omit context; inspect the full record and Methodology.

Discord option-call results

Discord option results measure normalized long, single-leg option alerts—not brokerage executions or account returns. Verified results use an eligible market-data quote at or shortly after each timestamp, with the entry marked at the ask and exits marked at the bid. This conservative convention does not prove that any person traded, could fill the displayed size or price, or followed every exit.

Results may exclude commissions, contract fees, slippage beyond the quoted spread, liquidity and size limits, taxes, exercise or assignment effects, portfolio sizing, and other account constraints. Canonical pending or unpriced trades may remain publicly visible but do not change rank. Ambiguous, unmatched, nonstandard, disputed, or corrected-away alerts remain excluded. Review the versioned scoring methodbefore comparing results.

AI-assisted analysis

Automated systems may summarize, classify, extract, or connect source material. These systems can misunderstand context, create unsupported claims, miss conflicts, or produce inconsistent results. BeliefState records provenance and review state to support inspection; those controls do not guarantee correctness. Verify material facts against original sources.

Conflicts and disputed records

Source authors, data providers, users, and operators may hold positions or interests related to discussed securities. Treat source claims as evidence to evaluate, not independent validation. When a material error is identified, BeliefState may append a correction or superseding record rather than rewriting historical audit history. Attributed authors may dispute an identity link, parsed call, market mark, or public result using the report link in the footer.
