Enable developer mode in ChatGPT settings.
Open ChatGPT Plugins, choose Add, and enter the BeliefState MCP URL.
Create the connection, review the read-only tools, and sign in to BeliefState.

Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
Name it BeliefState and enter the BeliefState MCP URL.
Choose Connect, sign in to BeliefState, then enable it from the + menu in a chat.

Ask for the evidence, not just an answer.

Setup is proven only after the AI completes a real read-only tool call. A connection appearing in a menu is not enough.

Use BeliefState to show what changed in NBIS. Include the timeline, citations, warnings, data status, and outcome verification. Do not turn missing evidence into a claim.
